Scott Moxham is a Senior Vice President of Finance & Accounting at Petros PACE Finance. He is responsible for managing the firm’s financial and tax accounting and reporting operations, in addition to working on key strategic growth initiatives of the firm.

Scott’s career spans more than 20 years of varied experience in structured finance, tax credit monetization, and investment management, with extensive experience in commercial real estate and fixed income securities.

In his previous positions, Scott served as Chief Financial Officer at Capella Capital Partners, an Austin-based commercial real estate development firm with an asset portfolio spanning office, retail, multi-family, storage, and raw land. At Capella, he oversaw financial operations for more than 20 real estate entities, managing reporting, underwriting, and transactions to fund the firm’s growth.

Prior to that, in Scott’s previous job at Petros, he was responsible for key aspects of structuring, modeling, and underwriting for the firm’s tax credit-based investments. As a founding employee of the firm, he also played a critical role in the launch of Petros PACE Finance.

He also held senior-level accounting positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG.

Scott earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Texas Christian University and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, he is a CFA charter holder and a CPA licensed in the state of Texas.

Michael Yaki is Senior Vice President & Senior Counsel of Policy and Programs at Petros PACE Finance.

Michael’s PACE law and policy expertise has driven new market creation and PACE innovations across the country.  As an industry thought leader, Michael has advised legislators in both state and local governments and local program administrators on how to establish successful C-PACE programs.  His most recent accomplishment was serving as the primary author of the state of Washington C-PACE statute enacted in June 2020.  In addition, his deep knowledge of the intricacies of C-PACE programs and a deft hand with deal-making has resulted in the completion of some of the largest C-PACE financings to date in the industry.

Michael received his B.A. from UC Berkeley and his J.D. from the Yale Law School.

Chip Windisch is a Senior Vice President – Tax Credit Finance.

Chip joins Petros from Old National Bancorp, where he served as Senior Vice President of Tax Credit Finance at Petros PACE Finance. While there, Chip led a Tax Credit team that originated and managed over $150M of gross tax credits, expanded the company’s Foreign Exchange business, and realigned the commercial banking organization. He also helped create and served as Board Chair of Old National CDE Corporation.

Prior to that, Chip was the co-founder and Managing Director of InSite Capital, where he originated and managed real estate debt financing and equity investments in tax credits.

Chip also served as a Vice President at Lake Michigan Financial Corporation, where he co-created a tax credit investment line of business.

Chip holds a BBA in Finance and an MBA from Grand Valley State University.

Kyle is a Senior Vice President of Credit and Underwriting at Petros PACE Finance. Kyle Peczynski has been involved with C-PACE financing since 2014. He originated and closed several of Michigan’s first projects and was instrumental in helping the Lean & Green Michigan PACE program grow its jurisdictional footprint and expand its business early on. Since joining Petros in 2015, Kyle has served in both business development and credit roles, and now leads Petros’ underwriting team as Senior Vice President  – Credit and Underwriting. In between roles at Petros, Kyle worked for The Nature Conservancy in Detroit where he led a study on the viability of using special purpose district financing to expand the deployment of green stormwater infrastructure in Detroit’s neighborhoods. A Michigan native, Kyle holds a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.

Amy Benavides is Senior Vice President of Capital Markets & Strategic Initiatives at Petros PACE Finance.

She works closely with customers, program administrators, and the Petros legal and finance teams to ensure smooth and efficient transaction closings. Amy manages the due diligence, processing, closing, and post-closing process for Petros across multiple lines of business, including PACE, New Market Tax Credits, and CAPCO transactions. Using her background as a paralegal, she ensures that each transaction is appropriately documented, including meeting Petros’ internal requirements, any external legal requirements, and preparing transaction files for rating agencies and investors.

Prior to her work with Petros, Amy was a paralegal for Joseph Brophy, and Amanda G. Taylor of Hohmann, Taube & Summers, LLP, an Austin-based law firm focusing on litigation and complex corporate transactions.

John Gamm is a Senior Vice President of Legal at Petros PACE Finance.

John joins Petros from Stinson LLP, where he served as a transactional associate in the real estate finance group. At Stinson, he represented capital providers in connection with PACE transactions across various states and facilitated tax credit transactions.

Prior to that, John served as in-house counsel for Fidelity National Title Group, the nation’s leading title insurance underwriter.

John received a J.D. from Creighton University School of Law and a BBA from Texas Christian University, graduating cum laude.

Katy joins Petros as an experienced transactional attorney from Cramer Weatherbie Richardson Oliver LLP, where she represented clients involved in commercial real estate transactions.

Katy has more than 15 years of experience in the real estate industry. She began her career as a financial analyst in the Real Estate Finance and Securitization Group at Credit Suisse in New York City. She subsequently worked for a real estate investment group focused on international hotel acquisitions before pursuing her law degree.

Katy received a BBA from the University of San Diego and a J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law.

Sean Leahy is a Vice President of Finance and Capital Markets at Petros PACE Finance.

Prior to joining Petros, Sean was an analyst for Capsa Ventures, LLC. While there, he worked on evaluating real estate development and investment opportunities in asset classes, including residential, office, industrial and self-storage. Sean also worked for Landmark Dividend, LLC as a senior financial analyst in Los Angeles and a financial associate for The Blackstone Group in New York.

Sean holds a B.A. in Finance from Michigan State University and got his M.S. in Investment Management from Boston University.

Josh Traner is a Vice President of Finance and Capital Markets at Petros PACE Finance.

Josh joined Petros from the Texas Water Development Board, where he worked for four years as a Financial Analyst in debt and portfolio management. During his tenure there, Josh was part of a team that issued over $7.5 billion in bonds and brought two new credits to market. Before that, he served as a Senior Financial Analyst at the Municipal Advisory Council of Texas.

Josh holds a B.A. in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin and is a CFA^® Charterholder .

Laura Spisak is the Vice President of Transactions at Petros PACE Finance.

Prior to joining Petros, Laura was an Escrow Accounting Coordinator for Reliant Title. While there, she supported multiple title offices, completed audit transactions and ensured compliance with state, federal and underwriting audit requirements. Laura also worked as a Sales Director for Milestone Management and as a Closing Officer for Howard Hanna Real Estate.

Laura holds a BA in Economics from Allegheny College.

Kang Lee is a Staff Accountant at Petros PACE Finance.

Prior to joining Petros, she served as Assistant to the CFO and Staff Accountant at Nomad Sound, Inc., a live event services company. During her tenure there, she managed accounting operations in support of the company’s CFO.

Kang earned a B.S. in Accounting from Temple University.

Ariel Ritchie is Vice President of Underwriting at Petros PACE Finance.

Ariel joins Petros from Fannie Mae, where she was a credit risk analyst within the Enterprise Risk Management division and worked within the multifamily sector, providing oversight of the risk rating process and modeling tool. Prior to that, she was a Senior Credit Analyst at Mutual of Omaha Bank, specializing in commercial and industrial lending to middle market companies and managing a portfolio of over $120 Million in credit exposure.

Ariel graduated from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Economics, a minor in Business and a Business Economics Certificate.

Lawton Johnson is an Underwriting Analyst at Petros PACE Finance.

Lawton joins Petros from SouthStar Bank, where he served as an Assistant Vice President/Portfolio Manager. While there, he coordinated underwriting for mortgages and commercial loans.

Prior to that, Lawton held a position at Vista Bank.

Lawton holds a BBA in Finance from Texas Tech University.

Tucker Green is an Underwriting Manager  at Petros PACE Finance.

Tucker joins from U.S. Bank, where he served as a Commercial Real Estate Credit Analyst. While there, he was responsible for continuous underwriting and risk monitoring for construction and term loans across several asset types, along with construction monitoring, project-level performance, covenant compliance and lease-up tracking for projects and sponsors.

Tucker holds a BBA in General Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.

Grant Sandercox is an Underwriting Analyst at Petros PACE Finance.

Grant joins Petros from PlainsCapital Bank, where he served as a credit analyst. While there, he coordinated underwriting and financing transactions involving real estate, working capital, equipment, and small company acquisitions. Prior to that, Grant held a position at Ryan, LLC as a severance tax/ royalty consultant.

Grant holds a BBA in Finance from Texas State University & MS in Finance from Texas Tech University, Rawls College of Business.

Baltazar DeHoyos is a Vice President of Portfolio Manager at Petros PACE Finance.

Baltazar joins from Reisman Karron Greene, LLP, where, as Senior Paralegal, he managed a portfolio of over thirty Qualified Settlement Funds and led large-scale data projects within the firm. Prior to that, he was a transactional paralegal at Zuckert, Scoutt & Rasenberger, LLP.

Baltazar holds a B.A. in International Studies and Psychology from Baylor University.

Justin White is a Senior Transaction Manager at Petros PACE Finance.

Justin joins Petros from Western Riverside Council of Governments (WRCOG), where he served as Senior Analyst of PACE Programs. Prior to that, he was an Analyst at David Taussig and Associates.

Justin holds a BA in Economics from California State University in San Bernardino.

Ashley Lundgren is an Asset Servicing Analyst at Petros PACE Finance.

Ashley joins Petros from Guaranteed Rate, where she worked as a Loan Coordinator.

Prior to that, Ashley held transaction closing roles at First Choice Loan Services and First United Mortgage.
