Daniel is a commercial real estate finance professional with more than 18 years of experience in the origination and asset management of commercial real estate debt investments. He has spent the last 15 years focused on commercial real estate loan originations, with a specialty in transitional bridge lending at various levels in the capital stack.

Prior to joining Petros, Daniel was a principal at H.I.G. Realty Credit Partners, where he originated debt investments for the firm’s commercial real estate debt fund. Before that, he oversaw the East Coast lending platform for CarVal Investors as a director in the firm’s commercial real estate debt practice. Daniel also spent six years as a Vice President of Originations at Mesa West Capital, where he focused on East Coast originations, helping to grow the firm’s expanding geographic presence. He began his career at Torchlight Investors, where he spent four years in the firm’s special servicing group.

Daniel attended Harvard University, where he earned a B.A. in Economics.
